Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist specializing in supporting teens and adults through anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity questions, and big life transitions. If you or teen are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to express what’s going on inside, I provide a safe, creative, and supportive space to help you find clarity and relief.
In our sessions, I combine art therapy and talk therapy, tailored to what works best for each individual. Some teens or adults feel more comfortable expressing themselves through painting, drawing, or mixed media, while others prefer talking—or a mix of both. My approach is flexible, collaborative, and focused on each client’s goals, so therapy feels meaningful, not forced.
Together, we’ll use creative expression and conversation to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and boost confidence. I guide each session with compassion and attentiveness, encouraging young clients to explore their ideas and take the lead in their healing. This helps foster personal agency, self-trust, and resilience in real-world challenges.
Outside of sessions, I’m an artist myself. I love watercolor painting, spending time in nature, and enjoying quiet, reflective moments. I’m excited to connect with you and help your child discover how creativity can support healing, growth, and self-discovery.
