Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist who works with children, teens, and young adults navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity exploration, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to express what’s happening inside, I offer a creative and supportive space to help you find clarity and healing.
In sessions, I blend art therapy and talk therapy, depending on what feels most helpful to you. Some clients find comfort in expressing themselves through painting, drawing, or mixed media, while others prefer traditional talk therapy or a combination of both. My approach is flexible, collaborative, and client-centered, always guided by your needs and goals.
Together, we’ll use creative expression and conversation to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and boost self-confidence. My style is compassionate, supportive, and attuned to each individual’s needs. I value autonomy and collaboration, often encouraging clients to lead with their own ideas and themes as a way to build personal agency and self-trust.
Outside of therapy, I’m an artist myself, I enjoy watercolor painting, spending time in nature, and recharging with quiet, meaningful moments. I look forward to connecting and helping you discover how creativity can support healing and self-discovery.
